From time to time, we have to carry out maintenance that requires us to take the service offline for a short period of time.
This work is typically carried out outside of European office hours and can take just a few minutes up to several hours. Our infrastructure is designed to minimise these sorts of maintenance periods but sometimes, unfortunately, they're unavoidable.
When the system undergoes these maintenance periods, most of the background services are still available. As such, applications will still be received but they are queued for processing as soon as the system is restored to full functionality.
Under very rare circumstances, maintenance periods may occur within normal European office hours. This sort of down time would only be incurred where a critical "zero-day" security patch has to be installed without delay to ensure the ongoing security of the platform.
